Weddings, Guided With Intention.

Thoughtful planning and seamless execution for couples across Ontario — so your only job on wedding day is to celebrate

I'm your host first, and your DJ second.

Most couples hire a DJ and hope someone holds the night together. I do both, and I plan the host part harder than the music.

One person on the microphone who knows your story, knows the timeline, and knows what happens next — so the night moves without anyone having to chase it.

More Than Music. It's The Moments That Matter.

Your wedding day isn’t something that just happens — it’s something that’s built. Every entrance, every first dance, every quiet moment between songs is an opportunity to create something your guests will feel and you’ll never forget.

That’s what I do. Not just music — a carefully guided experience, from the very first note to the very last.

This Is Where the Pressure Starts to Lift

Wedding planning is a lot. There are vendors to coordinate, timelines to manage, and a thousand little details that all need to come together on one very important day. My job is to take as much of that weight off your shoulders as possible.

Through your private planning portal, we’ll build your timeline together, shape your music selections, and map out every moment that matters — ceremony cues, grand entrances, first dances, and everything in between. Every vendor gets aligned. Every detail gets confirmed.

So by the time your wedding day arrives, you’re not managing anything. You’re not coordinating anything. You’re just surrounded by the people you love, living the moment you’ve been waiting for.

The part of the night nobody plans for

There's a stretch in every reception where things can quietly fall apart. Dinner plates are cleared, speeches haven't started, and two hundred people are making conversation with whoever they got seated beside. The room cools off. You can watch it happen.

That stretch is the part I plan hardest for, because most MCs don't plan it at all. They read names off a card, hand over the mic, sit back down. It works, technically. But it writes off an hour of your wedding as dead air between the meal and the dancing, and your guests feel it.

During planning I ask you both a lot of questions. How you met. What the first date was actually like, not the version you tell at parties. The story your cousins half know and always get wrong. Then I tell it back to the room, with the details in the right order.

I'm not doing a comedy set and I'm not roasting anybody. I'm telling a full room something true about you that most of them have never heard, and watching all of them lean in at once.

It also means the night keeps moving. Dinner into speeches, speeches into your first dance, your first dance into a floor that fills without anyone being coaxed onto it. Nobody sits there wondering what happens next.

This is included in The Signature and The Full Experience. If you already have someone in mind for the mic, The Essentials covers everything else, and I'll give your MC whatever they need to feel confident up there.

Where I Work

Planning in a particular city? I've written about the venues, the load-in logistics and the questions couples ask in each of the places I work most: Burlington, Oakville, Hamilton, Ancaster, Milton, Mississauga, Guelph, Cambridge, Grimsby and Niagara-on-the-Lake.

What To Expect When It Comes To Investment

Most couples invest between $2,900 and $3,500. Every wedding is different, which is why I take the time to understand your vision, your priorities, and your day before anything is finalized.

What you can always count on is this — every dollar goes toward an experience that’s thoughtfully planned, confidently executed, and completely focused on you.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a wedding DJ cost in Ontario?

Most couples invest between $2,400 and $3,500. Ceremony coverage is included at every level, so that isn't a variable. What changes the number is whether you want me on the microphone as your host and MC, and whether you add uplighting. We start with a conversation about your day before landing on the right coverage.

Do you provide ceremony audio?

Yes, and it's included in every level of coverage — never a separate line item. Microphones for your officiant and your vows, music playback for the processional and recessional, and sound that works indoors or outside.

Do you also act as the MC?

Yes, and for most couples that's the main reason they hire me. I host the night myself — I learn your story during planning and tell it back to the room, so dinner has life in it and the night keeps moving. If you already have someone on the microphone, The Essentials covers everything else, and I'll give your MC whatever they need to feel confident up there.

Can we choose our own music?

Absolutely. You will have access to a personal planning page where you can share must-play songs, special requests and songs you do not want played.

Do you take guest requests?

Yes, when appropriate. Guest requests are considered alongside your preferences and the energy of the dance floor.

What areas do you serve?

The Sounds DJ Services & Entertainment serves Burlington, Oakville, Hamilton, Mississauga, Cambridge, Guelph, Ancaster, Oakville, Milton, Grimsby, Toronto and the Niagara Region.

How far in advance should we book?

Popular wedding dates often book well in advance, especially during the spring, summer and fall. Booking early gives you the best chance of securing your preferred date.
